Culture Clash:
Culture Clashi.jpg
Today in class we finished our culture clash project. We had to use photoshop to represent the differences in culture between Yarmouth, Maine and Beijing, China in one single picture. The picture above is my attempt to show this comparison. I showed the difference in people and also the difference in the architecture. I made the people black and white so that it distinguishes themselves from the architecture aspect. I showed the Chinese traditional building and a famous ferris wheel in Maine. I also showed a local Beijing building and a local french fries place together in the middle. And of course the people are from the two different places.
This unit was super fun because first of all, I learnt how to use Photoshop which I always wanted to do and also because through this I got to see what each place was all about. And also it was just fun to carefully pick the pictures and to place them all in such a way that look real and unreal at the same time.
