Culture Clash

In class we worked on a new project which involved using photoshop. Our project was about clashing 2 different cultures, Chinese culture and American culture. On my project, I specifically focused on showing the difference between China and America. In order to portray the difference between both countries, I put images of buildings that you will see when you are in China and when your are in America. I put an image of a typical American boat and a Chinese dragon race boat. A Chinese kid holding a caramelised candy apple, which is popular in America during festivals, and a American girl. I also added some Chinese lanterns and pretty flowers.
I had a lot of fun doing this project because I learned lots of new skills from photoshop. I was worried though because I have never used photoshop until we started our project. It was frustrating time to time but I was able to get through it and had fun in the end! I'm glad we did this project because now I finally know how to use photoshop.
